Vovinam (Võ Việt Nam, meaning "Vietnamese Martial Arts") is the traditional style of Vietnamese Martial Arts discipline. Việt Võ Đạo (越武道) means Vietnamese Way of Martial Arts. Vovinam originated in 1938 in Vietnam by Vovinam Founding Master Nguyễn Lộc. Since it's establishment, Vovinam Việt Võ Đạo has grown to become Vietnam's most popular martial art worldwide.
